Important Registration Information- Please Read
All athletes who wish to participate are required to register for the National Games.
***IMPORTANT NOTICE*** Rowing and swimming (Sunday, July 6th) and powerlifting and track (Wednesday, July 9th) will be overlapping with each other, so participants can only choose one of those two sports for those two days when registering.
The Dwarf Athletic Association of America (DAAA) will be hosting the 36th National Games during the 2025 Little People of America (LPA) National conference in San Diego, California July 3-10, 2025.
DAAA was founded in 1985 with the mission to provide athletic competition, guidance, support and information to people of short stature and to their families. DAAA organizes a competition annually in conjunction with the LPA National Conference to provide sports in a safe and controlled competition. DAAA expects more than 200 athletes competing in a variety of sports.
DAAA encourages all athletes of short stature, no matter the level of ability and skill to join the competition. It is very rewarding to compete with other athletes who are of similar height, size and ability in a safe and controlled competition. There are sports for every comfort zone and ability.
**First Time Athletes & Families***
Parents, when registering for the first time, if you wish, you can create the account as the parent and add your children after you are logged in.
Individual open athletes would sign up as themselves.
REMINDERS FOR 2025
Medical Release - Medical release and physician's signature will not be required for registration.
Team Rosters - All Junior team rosters will be completed by DAAA staff. Open teams can still submit rosters. Any individual athletes that do not have a team will be placed on a team by DAAA. DAAA has the right to add athletes to any roster if there are any incomplete teams
Registration/Check-In Information
There is NO ON-SITE REGISTRATION. All athletes need to be registered online by May 31, 2025.
All Athletes must complete their check-in at the DAAA check-in area at the LPA hotel before competing in any events.
On-site DAAA check-in includes:
1) Athletes under 18 must bring a parent or guardian with them to complete registration
2) Pickup any T-shirts that are purchased
3) Pick up schedule of events
Eligibility
You are eligible for competition if you are a disproportionate dwarf (diagnosed with Achondroplasia) that is less than or equal to five feet in height, or a proportionate dwarf less than or equal to 4 foot 10 inches in height.
Age Divisions ( Age as of June 1st, 2025)
Futures (4-6)
Junior A (7-11)
Junior B (12-15)
Open (16-34)
Masters (35 and up)
Team Sport Rosters
Coaches/Captains of the open teams, please submit your rosters no later than June 2nd. Please check Facebook and website for information on how to submit rosters.
